It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Marie Nash-Raymond, age 69, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, at Zilber Family Hospice.
Gail was born on August 14, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Swanzie and Leatha Mae Nash. Throughout her life, Gail was known for her generosity, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She gave of herself completely, always placing family, friends, and others before her own needs. Her compassion and selflessness touched countless lives and created a legacy of love that will endure for generations.
Gail graduated from Rufus King High School and later attended Hawaii Pacific University. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including gardening, baking, listening to music, knitting, and reading. More than anything, Gail cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, Maya and Elijah, whose laughter, accomplishments, and presence brought her immense joy. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in nurturing and supporting those she loved.
Gail leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of more than 40 years, Thomas J. Raymond; her devoted daughter, Tennica Nash-Rodriguez, and son-in-law, John Rodriguez; her cherished grandchildren, Maya Rodriguez and Elijah Rodriguez; her stepmother Juanita Nash; her sisters, Ireatha Plummer, Darnell Davis, Demetri Nash, and Duchar Nash; and her brothers, Swanzie Lee Nash II, Michael Nash, Donald Nash and stepbrother, Tony Bowen, along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Swanzie L. Nash and Leatha Mae Nash; and her sisters, Patricia Wilson, Margie McElroy, Kinyara Nash, and Tyanna Nash.
