Frances “Fran” M. Borkowski (née Vespalec) – Reunited with her beloved husband Leonard on August 4, 2026 at the age of 102. Loving mother of Robert (the late Lisa) and Mary (Steven, Jr.) Musinsky. Dear sister of the late James (Patricia) Vespalec, the late Patricia (the late Robert) Armbruster and the late Frank Vespalec. Also survived by brother-in-law Donald Borkowski, cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Special thanks to the superb caring staff at Dickson Hollow. Also many thanks to Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, Cardiology Care Unit’s doctors, nursing staff, Palliative Care team, Social Workers, etc. for the compassionate care extended to our family.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 10:00 AM to 12:00  PM. Funeral service at 12:00 noon. Luncheon to follow at 1:00 PM.

Graveside service on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Holy Cross Cemetery in  Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 10:00 AM.

It’s a time to honor and celebrate a long life lived. Dress casual and comfortable. Wear some color. That was Fran’s way!
