Evelyn J. “Lyn” Muir, née Smart

Born into eternal life on July 30, 2024, age 76. Beloved mother of Lisa (Ryan) Sullivan and the late Bill Allison. Cherished grandma of Patrick, Katie, Sean and Kelli. Dear sister of Ken (Kathy) Smart, Robin Mateicka and the late Mark Smart. Loving and supportive aunt of Dayna Mateicka and Danielle (the late Jim) Jenders. Adoring great aunt of Jordan. Preceded in death by her parents William and Enid Smart. Also loved by other relatives in Canada and many friends.

Lyn was born in Russell, Manitoba, Canada. Lyn moved to the United States as a child and became a naturalized citizen. She worked 31 years on the assembly line at Briggs and Stratton. She retired to follow her passion of becoming a floral designer. Her favorite hobbies were being with family, traveling and making porcelain dolls. She had a volunteer spirit and was always willing to help anyone. She also loved being a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House and Ten Chimneys. She will be dearly missed by her cat, Beast. She loved her cats and dogs over the years, a true animal lover.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM. Service 6:00 PM. Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
