Treasured grandfather of Brandon, Christopher, Jamie, Taylor, Matthew and the late Justin. He will be greatly missed by his special friend Kathy, as well as many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and in-laws. Born the youngest of 11 children to Matt and Anna Krahn, Gene was dedicated to the family farm for many years before serving as the first Park Supervisor for the city of New Berlin for 23 years. Charter member of St. Luke Catholic Church and New Berlin Eagles Club, Aerie 4008.
Visitation at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, on Tuesday, February 24, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Additional visitation at ST. LUKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 18000 West Greenfield Avenue, on Wednesday from 9:30-10:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Procession to follow to Holy Apostles Cemetery.
