Vickio, Ella Marie (Leech) Born into Eternal Life December 10, 2025 at the age of 94, after a life well lived.

Loving mother to Joyce, Mike, Cindy, Barbara, who passed in June, and David (Sherry) Vickio. She was the best Grandma to Jessica, Jenny, and Crystal (Sam). She was a Great-Grandma to Jaden Vickio.

Ella was born on February 26, 1931 to her parents Jackson and Ethlind (Sutton) Leech.  Ella married Joe Vickio who was born to Eternal Life February 27, 2002. She is preceded in death by parents, husband and her sister Dorothy (Carl) Ossmann.

Ella enjoyed country music. Every year she went to Door County, even the shopping centers where we would get homemade fudge. Ella had many friends, some still here and some who are gone. She will be missed dearly and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM, on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Interment at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

All the years I have known Ella Marie, she has always been good to me. She would ask about my day, ask about how both my parents are, talked about her past, and what not. In order to start my day, I would always ask for her smile. Ella Marie will be deeply deeply missed, not just by me but many many people. We all love you Ella. R.I.P beautiful angel.

I got to know Marie and the Vickio family when I lived at Heritage House. I remember that Marie would be there visiting and she would make her rounds in the atrium, stopping to talk with with everyone and giving shoulder rubs. She was a very sweet woman who was very devoted to her family.
