Elizabeth Ann Cashman
“Lizzy”
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Elizabeth Ann “Lizzy” Cashman Devine, who died peacefully at the age of 56. Lizzy was a vibrant light in the lives of everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love and laughter.
A special child, born in 1969 to her devoted parents David and Elizabeth Devine, Lizzy brought an immediate and unforgettable joy into the world. She was the irreplaceable sister to seven siblings who adored her: Michael, Susan (Tom), Julie (Gary), Linda (Al), Mary (Scott), Sarah (Mark), Charles (Barb). She was a favorite aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Lizzy lived a rich and full life, with an infectious optimism that taught us all the true meaning of happiness. She was active in Special Olympics. She loved animals, babies and children, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Lizzy was artistic and creative; providing her family with beautiful painted works, knit garments and hooked rugs. She was a social creature, made friends easily, enjoyed traveling, and engaging in activities with people. She especially loved her birthday parties!
Lizzy reminded us daily that the most important things in life are simple:
connection, kindness, and a good belly laugh.
May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
Services will be held privately at a later date.
