Edward was a devoted husband and dedicated father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and family man. He was a kind, Christian man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Many family and friends, whom he always welcomed with open arms, called him Ed and his wife, Dot. They were inseparable and always considered family, their top priority. Together, they worked diligently to provide a comfortable home and life for their children. Everyone spoke of Ed with great admiration, appreciation, and respect. He touched many lives and had scores of attributes in his world.
Edward took pride in his many hobbies, such as gardening and hunting to “put food on the table,” for his family and friends. Ed enjoyed mechanics, beekeeping, bird watching, pets, animals and nature. He worked at Western Electric, AT&T and Franchise Mailing Systems all in the same location, for over 40 years, where he maintained the buildings industrial infrastructure.
In lieu of flowers, we, as a family, invite everyone to visit Edward’s wife, Dorothy Ann Sapa, where she resides. Ed is no longer at her side to comfort her. He would be honored to have loved ones visit Dot to share memories, family photos and life stories. His love for her was extraordinary and immeasurable. Also, memorial donations will be forwarded to Elizabeth Residence/Badger Care employees who made a significant impact on Edward’s care.
