I did not know Dr. Sykes directly, however, her sister Edna is one of my closest friends. Through Edna I have come to share the love, intelligent and strength of her dear sister Mernathan. Edna is so proud of her sister and her many accomplishments. Edna, who is a woman of great success in her own right, speaks so highly of her sister and I am sure that Mernathan set a trail for Edna and other family members to follow. While I never met her, I thank Dr. Sykes for all the students whose lives she touched and the greatness she created in this world. Thank you Dr. Sykes!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
