Donna Jean Schill, originally of New Berlin, Wisconsin, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family on September 11, 2025.

Donna was born October 4, 1939, one of two daughters of the late Ralph and Jean Gebhardt. Preceded in death by her devoted husband of 47 years, Theodore (Teddy) Schill and daughters Lorri Schill and Cathy Baker.

Donna is survived by her younger sister Patricia (Raymond) Wegehaupt and three children; daughters Mary Lynn (Greg Slavik) Schill, Debra (Seaver) Bigler and Todd (Deborah) Schill. Donna is also survived by grandchildren Lisa (Eric) Brill, David (Crystal) Bigler, Erin Bigler, Erica (David) Clausing, Carla Dulberger, Michael Baker, Nicole Kramer Baker, Ethan Schill, Trevor Schill and Connor Schill. Lovingly remembered by niece Dawn (Jim) Ziarkowski and nephew Jeff (Katie) Wegehaupt. Donna is further remembered by many, many, wonderful great grandchildren as well.

Ted and Donna were avid car enthusiasts for many years owning and showing Daytonas and Superbirds in the 1970’s, to Corvettes in the late 1980’s and beyond. They were active members in the Ozaukee Corvette Club as well as the Wisconsin Corvette Club and leave behind many good friends.

Later in life, Donna focused her attention on her many grand and great-grandchildren. She spent many an hour baking and cooking with them and made it known she was the coolest grandma around for many reasons.

In the last few years, Donna spent the majority of her time with her newly made friends from St. Camillus In Wauwatosa, spending many hours in activities and dining together both on site and at nearby venues.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the San Camillo Chapel of St. Camillus on the ground floor of the West building, located at 10200 West Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, with a 2:30 PM prayer service to follow.

I was so sorry to hear of Donna’s passing. I found today on her Birthday that she had passed and send my sincere condolences to her family that she loved so much. My late husband Jim, and I met Ted and Donna when they joined the Ozaukee Corvette Club. We shared a lot of fun times and memories together with our Corvettes and they became good friends! I know Donna is at peace now and is now in Heaven with her beloved Ted. I will miss her!
