David A. Berther passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 84.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judith, of 62 beautiful years. He is also survived by his children Douglas (Karen), David (Lori), Jeffrey (Jean), and Julie (Bob) Kirchoff, grandchildren Melissa, Kyle, Meghan, Michael, Matthew, Olivia, Caroline, Kamryn, and Reece and great-grandchild Oliver. He is further survived by his brother Bernie (Georgia), nieces and nephews, friends, and business patrons.

David was a pillar in the West Allis community as the business owner of D.A. Berther Inc. and an active member of the West Allis Lions Club for over 50 years. He was a devoted Marquette fan and a season ticket holder for both Marquette basketball and the Green Bay Packers football for several decades.

Family was the most important part of his life. His wife and kids were the center of his world. You could often find him filling his bird feeders. He enjoyed sitting with his wife and watching various wildlife walk by their windows. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed yearly trips with his sons.

A Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:45 PM. A Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.
