Entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, March 1, 2025, age 73. Dave is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Smith. Also survived by his older brother Don (Bev) Smith, younger brother Brian (Judy) Smith, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Throughout his years, Dave worked for Allis Chalmers in manufacturing. Dave would go back to school at Milwaukee Area Technical College after Allis Chalmers and obtain his degree to become a computer programmer. He would then work at Payco and retire with Fiserv.

Dave was involved with his church, volunteering his time at St. Matthias Parish for several different functions. Dave was proud of the time he spent baking up to 400 loaves of bread for the School Sisters of St. Francis bake sale every year.

Visitation to be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at St. Matthias Parish, 9306 West Beloit Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 1:00 PM. Interment at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
