To Craig's family & friends, I just found out that Craig had passed and send you my deepest sympathies. Craig was part of the Curative Forest Home staff I supervised in the early-mid 2000's. I have many memories of Craig. One that comes to mind is his creative ideas for participant programming. I remember for one music appreciation class he introduced the class to the "backstage experience " of a concert - I'm pretty sure it was classic rock focused. After listening to some popular live recordings, they looked through photos of the band, talked about the band members and were issued "backstage passes". They then enjoyed finger foods and non-alcoholic cocktails while talking about getting autographs and favorite music memories. What makes this incredible is that over half of the participants were non-verbal or could speak only a few words. Meaningful communication without words was one of Craig's unique gifts. We all have our struggles in life. I echo other messages that identify Craig as a strong individual who gave joy and compassion to others. He touched more lives than I can imagine. With Sympathy, Kristy Bleeke

My uncle’s love for his family, animals, his outlook on life, dedication, love for music and athletics, love for all things Italian, and most of all his laugh and sense of humor will be surely missed and always remembered. A definition of determination and strength, let his example be our gift of inspiration for all of us to live regardless of our individual struggles and beliefs. Knowing he has endured great difficulties many times with plentiful smiles on his face, and with a great sense of humor, demonstrates the sense of self-humility we can all learn from. Thank you Uncle Craig for being you and brightening our days, always when we needed it. Now you can keep Grandma Velma and Grandpa Steve company and probably go to some pretty heavenly music concerts.... Besides teach me how to play soccer, thanks for let me play music for you...For those about to rock, we salute you! ❤️ . Love You forever Man!!!!! -Danny
