Mayer, Colleen Marguerite (Roberts) born to eternal life on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at age 73 after a fierce battle against breast cancer.

Loving wife of Paul for 52 years. Cherished mother of Katie Mayer, Karen Medek (Tim), and Emily Polowy (Chris). Proud grandmother of Danny, Nathan, Megan, Keira, Carter, and Noah. Dear sister of Skip Roberts. Preceded in death by parents Leland and Ruth Roberts, and brother Mark Roberts.

Colleen lived a life full of creativity, care, and joy, sharing her many talents with those around her. A gifted painter, quilter, crocheter, hair stylist, and an outstanding cook and baker, she poured love into everything she created. She adored caring for her grandchildren, always spoiling them with her time, warmth, and homemade treats. She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—watching her children and grandchildren’s school events and sports, loving her dogs, Jake and Phoebe, playing cards, working on crossword puzzles, and celebrating Christmas with unmatched enthusiasm. She also cherished time outdoors, whether camping, exploring Door County, or enjoying family vacations. She and Paul also loved sharing a good fish fry and a Manhattan together.

Beyond her many hobbies and passions, she left an immeasurable impact on everyone she met. She was selfless and endlessly supportive, always offering a listening ear, a helping hand, and a warm smile. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at St. John Vianney Catholic Parish, 1755 North Calhoun Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin with visitation starting at 9:00 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
