Very sad news to hear. Chris was a long time member of Post 700. There, he was one member of a group of young people that became lifelong friends. Many great memories come to mind when I recall those day. You will be missed by many. Give our love to 714…

Chris and I back in high school at Echo Bowl on Port. We were both pretty serious about bowling, so we didn’t talk a whole lot at first. Over time, though, he became great friends with my older brother after they started working together at the Biscuit Company. Chris and my brother would often hang out and watch football on Sunday nights over on Argyle, and sometimes I’d sit in for a bit. Most of the time, Chris came across as a quiet guy, but when the conversation turned to football, fishing, or hunting, he became more passionate and expressive. Those were the moments you really got to see his personality come through. You were a great friend to my brother and I’ll always honor and cherish that. We will miss you Chris.
