Lisa Cortes left a message on January 31, 2025:
We got to know Chris in the last several years as her son Ben is our neighbor. We loved having her around on the weekends, visiting her for trick or treating and sharing meals while watching football. There are a lot of neighbors who treat Ben as family, so there were a lot of us to keep straight! It didn’t matter if she couldn’t remember whose kids belonged to who or which house we lived in…she went straight into Grandma mode when I brought my kids around. She’d read them books, help with spelling and had hugs for them all. We’re really gonna miss having such a wonderful woman in our lives! We count ourselves lucky for the time we got to spend with her. Her amazing sons are an absolute tribute to the incredible mom she was. Our prayers and love to you all!
