Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, age 93. Cherished husband of the late Evangeline for 70 years. Loving father of Chris (Carol) Mihas and Joanne (Peter) Scoptur. Dear grandfather of Ted Mihas and Leia Scoptur; and great-grandfather of Giavanna. Preceded in death by his sisters, Sophie Musser and Mary Mihas and his brother, Peter Mihas. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Chris was an honorable member of the "Greatest Generation" serving in the Army Air Force during World War II as a cryptographer. He also was proud to travel to Washington D. C. with the Stars and Stripes Honors Flight in 2011. He was the co-owner of the Pavasil Machine Company. He was a member of the Damascus #290 Masonic Lodge of Milwaukee, the Wisconsin Scottish Rite Bodies and a proud member of the Oriental Band of the Tripoli Shrine.

He enjoyed golfing with his former IRS colleagues. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, especially enjoying his trips to Canada and Northern Wisconsin. He used his gourmet culinary skills cooking his prize catches. He traveled the world extensively with his wife, Evangeline.

Visitation at ANNUNCIATION GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 9400 West Congress Street, Monday, November 10, 10:00-11:00 AM. Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Burial Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials to the church appreciated.
