Sue Burkwald left a message on November 5, 2023:
Bea was our Mom's roommate at Linden Grove Nursing home for over 5 years. We had the pleasure of Bea and Gary's company whenever we visited with Mom. We got to know Bea better through many uplifting conversations with Gary who was by her side every day. We enjoyed having lunch and dinner with Bea and Gary when we visited Mom at Linden Grove. Being roommates for so long, Mom and Bea had a silent bond, and each provided the other some comfort in knowing that the other was there. We miss you, Bea. Room 209 is not the same without you. Thanks for being an awesome roommate for our Mom. Rest in eternal peace. Our sincere condolences to Gary and the rest of the family. We miss seeing you too, Gary. I enjoyed our conversations about Germany, The University of Wisconsin (go Badgers!), Engineering and travel. With love and sympathy from Helen (Ann) Towell and her family: Ric Towell, Bruce Towell, Sue Burkwald and Amy Anderson.
