Barbara May Boerner (nee Biscobing)

(1939-2024)

Barbara May Boerner, 85, of Brookfield, WI, passed away at her home on June 4, 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

She was born in the Town of Granville in 1939 to George and Mary Biscobing and attended Custer High School before marrying her childhood sweetheart and husband of 68 years, Russell Boerner. Together they raised three children, Brent, Brian and Renee and were blessed with four grandchildren, Matthew, Jason, Jacob and Mitchell. They were her pride and joy. She always said their births changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided.

Barbara’s passions included taking care of her family, baking, sewing, and gardening. She took special joy in the lives of her children and grandchildren and had fond memories of playing ball with the grandsons.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and siblings LeRoy (Pauline), Rosemary (Donald), Maynard (Judy), Jackie (Harold), and is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings Howard (Elaine) and Robert (Jan), who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 18, 2024, at Christ The Lord Lutheran Church, 1650 North Brookfield Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Visitation at 3:00 PM, with service to follow at 4:00 PM .
