Of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, formally of Peshtigo, Wisconsin passed away surrounded by her children Tuesday March 8th at the age of 77. She joins her husband Roger.

Barbara was born to Robert and Mary May in Defiance, Ohio on August 8, 1938. She fulfilled her passion for learning through a degree in teaching, a career she enjoyed for 20+ years. She married her husband Roger in 1964 and enjoyed 40 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2005. With Roger she raised three children Jennifer (Anthony) Franda of Pewaukee, Chuck (Tina) Schultz of Merton and Brian (Jill) Schultz of Pewaukee. Barbara's passion for teaching and love for children continued after retirement through the close relationships with seven grandchildren: Trevor, Ryan, Nick, Ian, Emily, Spencer and Simon.

Barbara is also survived by her brother Tom (Rhoda) May, Sister-in-Laws Beth Bray, Sally Schultz, and Brother-in-Law Denny (Linda) Schultz along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home,21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield WI, Friday March 11th 4:00-7:00 PM. Additional Visitation Saturday March 12th at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, N35 W23360 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee, 9:30-10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery Pewaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Aurora Summit Medical Foundation.
