Barb Malloy (Lennartz), age 67, of New Berlin, was suddenly and unexpectedly taken to her eternal home on May 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Barb is survived by her husband Jerry, their three children Ali (Brian) Pierce, Erica (Jason) Komorowski, and Brian Malloy, and their five grandchildren; Hailey, Lily and Aubrey Pierce, Jackson Komorowski, and Kipton Malloy, and her beloved dog Chester. Also survived by sisters Mary (Bill) Ziegler, Lisa (the late Tom) Bromley, and brother Mike Lennartz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alice Lennartz, and her sister Joan Gerek. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
Barb was a faithful and devoted wife to Jerry for 45 years and a beloved and caring mother and grandmother to her family. Although her life seems too short to many, those of us blessed to be touched by her will cherish the lasting imprint she left on our hearts, which exceeds the amount of time that we spent together.
Barb will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering dedication to her family, and her ability to always put others first. Barb’s greatest joy came from spending time with her husband and her family, and she took pride in her favorite role as “Grandma B.” No one can ever replace her love for her grandchildren.
Barb lived her Christian life with grace and left the world a better place than she found it. She will live on in our hearts for eternity.
“Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. Her memory will live on.”
Celebration of Barb’s life will be held on May 15, 2025, at her parish, Holy Apostles Church, 16000 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Visitation from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and Mass to follow. Barb will be laid to rest surrounded by immediate family at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
