It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father and husband, Bahadar Boparai, at the age of 61, on November 21, 2024.
Above all, Bahadar was a devoted family man. His love for his family was boundless, and he worked tirelessly to make sure we were taken care of. He made us feel supported in every way, never hesitating to put us first. His children will always remember his strength, his unwavering dedication, and the sacrifices he made to ensure we had everything we needed.
In addition to being a loving father and husband, Bahadar was a true handyman. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, build, or improve. From fixing parts of a car to adding advanced technology to the house and business, he had an incredible knack for making things work. His hands were always busy, and there was no problem too big or small that he wouldn’t tackle with determination and skill. His hands were the hands that kept his family’s world turning—fixing leaks, changing tires, and teaching his children the value of hard work and self-sufficiency.
But Bahadar was also a successful businessman. He owned and operated the gas station for decades. He built lifelong friendships with customers. He always believed in doing things the right way with integrity. He took pride in his job, and his leadership, honesty, and commitment made him a respected figure in the community. His last big project was replacing all the concrete at the station and making it brand new. He worked hard every day, and we admire his dedication.
Bahadar is survived by his loving wife, Harjeet, and his children, Iris and Navneet. He was preceded in death by his son Agraj, who was deeply cherished by him. He is also remembered fondly by his extended family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
“We will forever miss your love, wisdom, and knowledge. You were the heart of our family, and your legacy will live on in the lessons you taught us and the love you gave.”
A visitation will be held on November 27th, 2024, at 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home & Cremation, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We invite all those who knew him to join us in celebrating his life and the many ways he touched our hearts.
