Marjorie Hense

Marjorie E. Hense went home to the Lord on May 1, 2024.

Marge was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, John (Jack) Hense and her parents William and Myrtle Ehlert.

She is the loving mother of Susan (Cory) Schneider and Steven (Kari Buelow) Hense and very proud grandma of Abby (Ben) Walsh, Sam (Bree) Kegel, Nicky (Sam) Lieven, and Amanda Hense.  Marge is also great grandma “GG” to Ryan Kegel, David Walsh, Harper Hense Lieven, Andrew Kegel and Jonny Walsh.  Marge was also survived by her dear brother, David Ehlert, her beloved “sister” cousin, Judy Huebner, two nieces, four nephews and other relatives.

Margie was simply a wonderful person and friend to so many during her lifetime.  Whether it was in service to her faith, volunteering for her kids’ activities or hosting and participating in numerous social clubs, she was the consummate wife, mom, grandma, hostess, teacher, advocate, and friend.

Marge’s family would like to thank all her wonderful caregivers over the past six years, especially Tina B.  We also appreciate the special care provided recently by her Preceptor hospice team.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Service at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.

Memorials appreciated to the Humane Society of Washington County Wisconsin or other animal support agency of your choice, in honor of Marge’s love for all her puppies over the years.
